Strike Fighter Squadron 115 (VFA-115) is known as the "Eagles", callsign "Talon", a United States Navy F/A-18E Super Hornet strike fighter squadron stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni.

VFA-115 | Mission

VNAO stands for Virtual Naval Air Operations and lives on the DCS WORLD platform. VNAO has members from around the world and is active in most time zones. Members typically join a squadron that is in a similar time zone or at least flies at the same approximate time of day. With that said VNAO is fairly active 24/7.

VFA-115's mission is to maintain a state of readiness and support the carrier strike group as needed. Our pilots train on all systems of the F/A 18 Hornet. With an emphasis on SEAD, DEAD, STRIKE, we also maintain proficiency in Air to Air support.

Just as importantly, our mission is to have a good time, enjoy sharing our passion for flying and naval air operations with like- minded people.

GOLDEN RULE APPLIES. Members will maintain a professional attitude at all times. Respect for others is the standard and repeated offenders will be removed from the squadron, air wing and server.

• Avoid topics like politics and religion etc.. that is not what we are here for.

• Avoid being a "know it all". There is a difference in being helpful and annoying.

• Avoid excessive chatter on the comms when there are others in the same room/channel/freq. It's nice to use a little brevity even when just hanging around and socializing.
